Morning makes the day! With a healthy breakfast you lay the foundation for energy, concentration and a good mood. Particularly popular: fresh breakfast smoothies, which are not only delicious and colorful, but also rich in vitamins, fiber and healthy fats.
Here you will find my three favorite smoothie recipes for the perfect start to the day - quick to make, filling and without any refined sugar!
Why breakfast smoothies?
A smoothie in the morning brings color and freshness to the breakfast table. In contrast to classic breakfast dishes, you can easily combine different types of fruit and vegetables as well as nuts, seeds and grains - this way you supply your body with important nutrients immediately after getting up.
Tips for the perfect consistency
To ensure that your smoothie is nice and creamy and not too thin, I recommend using frozen fruit. Half a banana also provides natural sweetness and a smooth taste. For extra creaminess, you can add oat flakes or a spoonful of nut butter.
Meal Prep: Plan and prepare smoothies
Do you have little time in the morning? Simply prepare the ingredients for your smoothies the night before and store them in the refrigerator or in portions in the freezer. So all you have to do in the morning is put everything in the blender and you're done!
Variants for every taste
Whether with berries, green leafy vegetables or exotic fruits – there are no limits to your creativity. For example, try a green apple and spinach smoothie, a tropical mango and coconut drink or a classic berry and banana mix. Get inspired and find your favorite combination!
